Originally issued in 1990, the design reworked here depicts stirrups, bridles and other equestrian accessories, together with fabrics knotted to form rosettes. The name refers to the Grand Manège used by riders of the Cadre Noir de Saumur: the iconic setting for prestige performances by this legendary school, which joined UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2011.
